A few pictures from harvesting honey and wax from the school’s honeybee hive. The hive (donated by the gift of a generous donor through the Ridgway community) is located over at the Ridgway Community Apiary.
Thea M. is the honeybee host and the student helping to manage the hive. Kurtis Shelton and I are mentors helping her learn how to care and support the honeybees. Fred and Judy Hazen are her sponsors at the community.
Grace F. also lent a hand in processing the honey.
